For the past 6 months my wife and I have looked to purchase a pop up camper. We began the process with the intention of just finding a nice well kept used (cheap) pop up. Well after 4 months of searching Craigslist and seeing the abused pop ups that were for sale we started to realize that we should move our search to include a dealer. Of the dealers in the Orlando metro area surprisingly few dealers handle pop up campers several only carry them a couple of months of the year and even then they only carry a couple of models.
I first stopped by Orlando RV in January having driven by I knew they always seemed to carry a large inventory of pop up's. and they carried several used units. I met Bill at that time and while they didn't quite have the used unit of my dreams he was very helpful and contacted me when they had a pup that he thought I would like.
A couple of weeks ago my wife and I stopped to see a used pup and my wife fell in love with the New Rockwood 1980. they had a couple of units at the dealer however Bill our consultant was able to reserve one from their Albany Ny location and they would have it delivered to us with in a week.
Mort in the Finance office was very professional and prepared to handle any of our financing needs and had our loan approved the next day.
Delivery day... admittly I have never purchased an RV before and I am a rather cynical person so when I was advised that I would have to go thru a 2 hour demonstration of the pop up I suspected that It would simply boil down to a sales pitch by the parts department. Wow I had that one wrong!!!! :) Today I meet with Chris. Chris is one of 2 employees at Orlando RV whose sole job is to go over every aspect of the camper to ensure that my wife and I were comfortable with the handling and operation of the unit.
The Camper was immaculate on delivery. can not imagine how it could have been in better shape and ready to go. as we were doing the walk thru Chris noticed a piece of molding that wasn't perfect and immediately replaced it.
When it came time to hitch up the camper to my van the lights wouldn't work Chris and another tech immediately started to trouble shoot the problem and discovered that when the hitch company wired up my van with the wiring harness they didn't finish the job correctly and immediately made the corrections to my van (at no charge ) so I could be on my way.
RV Direct / Orlando RV is a family owned and operated business the VP of the Orlando location Mark Strollo. During this transaction I had the opportunity to speak with Mark on the phone and when I came to pick up the unit he immediately introduced himself and checked in during the demo to make sure all was going well.
I really appreciate all the staff at Orlando RV did to make this a smooth transaction. While we were not purchasing a 200k motor home we purchased a simple pop up camper the staff treated us as thou we had just purchased the most expensive unit on the lot.

I purchased our 2012 Roo from Eric Hodes at Orlando RV (a branch of RVDirect in Florida). After trying to get THREE different local (Jacksonville) dealers to match or beat OrlandoRV's price, they could not come within a $1000 of Orlando's price. I wanted to stay "local", but drove 2 hours to save over $1000. Here's the weird thing, I told Eric Hodes that I was going to take his company's offer and try to stay local, he said to try, but the local dealers would not be able to do so. He was correct. We had the Roo custom built with the options available and waited about 6 weeks to see it in Orlando. A "sight unseen" purchase was not the way I wanted to go, but the salesman was very good "holding our hands" during the process. We are very pleased.

Mr. Strollo from the first time that we entered the showroom and met Jennifer we have felt like we were part of a family. There was never any pressure she just asked questions about what we were looking for and she helped us find it and more.
She introduced us to Ferris and he was just as nice as could be. When we were called to pick up our camper we were very excited because we had never owned one before. When we arrived to pick it up the interior was spotless Terry did a wonderful job cleaning it, Chris did a fantastic job cleaning the outside, Jason put the hitch on the truck and that calmed my nerves when I saw how sturdy and professionally it was done. But I can't say enough about Louie he walked us through everything that it would take from setup to closing down our camper, all of your employees are an asset to your company and in this day and time that is something hard to find...

I picked up a Starcraft Autumn Ridge travel trailer on Thursday morning and I just wanted to say Thank You.
The staff was GREAT! "STAN the RV MAN" was my salesperson, and I can honestly say one of the nicest, understanding, sales person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It was nice to meet a salesperson who actually listened to me and understood that I had certain needs being disabled. He not only met my needs but exceeded them! I appreciated everyone, from the gentleman who walked me through the camper and explained everything to the guy who installed the hitch and drove me through the parking lot to make sure everything was hooked and set properly.
They made purchasing a RV easy! In fact, I have to say, the whole process was lightning fast and I appreciated that. I was on the road in no time. The trailer pulled great, no problems at all.
I have been telling everyone that I met the best bunch of folks at Orlando RV in Winter Park Florida.
Again, just wanted to let you know I appreciate the whole experience. You provided a fun environment, fair pricing and just a neat bunch of people. I must have talked to 30 different dealers and I'm very happy I bought from Orland RV!!!
